- 1/4 cup water
- 6-8 lady fingers (bhindi)
- 1 small onion

- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder (homemade)

- Soaked dal Masoor for about 20-25 minutes in warm water further washed and chopped lady fingers.
- Take a pan add oil/ghee then add chopped onions sauté until slightly golden remove it then add chopped lady fingers then let it fry for about a minute flip both slides then add the onion and dal Masoor further add water and all spices except salt as shown in the picture below.
- Cover it and cook for only 3-4 minutes then add salt garnish with coriander leaves mix with light hands and make sure dal is just soften not mashed. And the lady finger must also be 60% cooked as shown in the picture below. It’s ready to serve.
