- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 bayleaf
- 2 green Cardamon
- 1 " cinnamon
- 1/4 cup almonds
Instructions to make to make Bengali Chicken Biryani
- At first Marinated chicken with all marination ingredients for 30 minutes.
- Fried boiled potatoes with little bit of turmeric powder and salt into ghee.
- Again Heat a pan with 2 tbsp ghee, added bay leaf, cardamon & cinnamon, chopped onions and fry it for few minutes. Then added marinated chicken and cooked for 20 minutes with lid.
- When chicken will be ready then keep it aside.
- For rice:- Boiled water with all whole spices & ghee. Cooked at least 70% and strained it.
- For Biryani:- At first layer. Spread the chicken with Lil bit of fried onions and green chili. In the 2nd layer spread the Cooked rice, fried onions, potatoes, ghee & almonds. Sealed the pan with dough for 10-15 minutes. Served it with boiled eggs, onion dip, and salad.
