  3. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Half tbsp coriander powder
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. 1 small onion roughly sliced
  9. 2 tbsp Imli pulp
  10. 3 green chillies
  11. To taste salt
  12. 1/2 tsp whole spice powder
  13. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  14. As required Water
  15. Baghaar:
  16. 2 tbsp Ghee/ Oil
  17. 4-5 red button chillies
  18. 3-4 sliced garlic cloves
  19. Half tbsp cumin seeds
  20. 4-5 curry leaves
  21. Rice :
  22. 3 cups rice
  23. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  24. 1 tbsp oil
  25. To taste salt
  26. 5 cups water
  27. 1 tbsp ghee
  28. Salad :
  29. 1 onion sliced
  30. 1 tomato sliced
  31. 1 green chilli chopped
  32. 1 tbsp Cilantro chopped
  33. 1/4 tsp salt
  34. 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions to make to make Malka Masoor ki Daal with Chawal 😋

  1. Soak daal for half and hour.
  2. Now put this soaked daal on stove and add oil in it and let it boil.
  3. When it starts boiling add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, onion & ginger garlic paste. And cover the lid and cook it on low flame until water dries up and daal becomes soft.
  4. At this point mash daal with cooking spoon and add imli pulp in it.
  5. Now add required quantity of water, salt & green chillies. And let it cook on high flame until it starts boiling... now cook it on low flame until the desired consistency of daal.
  6. Now add whole spice powder & roasted cumin powder to it and mix it well. Now turn off the stove and prepare baghar.
  7. For baghar, melt ghee and add garlic, red button chillies now cumin seeds & curry leaves.
  8. Now when garlic turns golden brown your baghar is ready. Pour it to daal and enjoy with boiled rice.
  9. For Rice : wash and soak rice for about half and hour to 1 hour... now boil these with salt, cumin & oil.
  10. When it starts boiling and rice are about to be ready juat strain them.
  11. Now put ghee on the base of pot so the rice wont stick on it. And add strained rice to it. And place it on dumm for 5 to 10 mins.
  12. For salad, just mix all the ingredients. You may add whatever vegetable you like to this salad.
  13. Now enjoy your meal... Daal Chawal with salad and achar.
