  1. First, soak 1 bowl chana overnight. After soaked overnight pressure cooks the chana for 10 to 12 whistles adding 4 cups of water, with salt, turmeric.
    Chana should be cooked well and softened.
    The chana should be soft when you mash it with a spoon.
  2. In a grinder, jar add 4 chopped Tomatoes
    Add 4 chopped onions
    2 pieces of ginger.
  3. Add Garlic cloves 10
    Add 4 green chilli
    Add 6 laung.
  4. Add 2 pieces of dal Chinni
    Add 1 tablespoon of black pepper
    And grind all together with a make a paste.
  5. In a cooker add 2 tablespoon oil
    Add 2 bay leaf
    Add 2 tablespoon dhaniya powder.
  6. Add the grinded gravy and saute till the color changes.
    Add 2 tablespoons of red chili powder.
    Add 1/2 spoon hing powder.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon garam masala powder.
    Now add2 tablespoon chana masala powder. And mix all well.
    Now add the boiled chana/chickpeas with gravy and mix them well.
  8. Add salt as per taste.
    Stir the gravy very well and chana masala is ready to serve garnish with coriander leaves.
  9. CHANA MASALA IS READY TO SERVE WITH PURI, BHATURE, OR JEERA RICE.
