- Wash the palak and chop it. Wash and soak tur dal for 1/2 hr.
- Finely chop the onions, garlic ginger and green chilies. Now pressure cook dal
- Heat butter and oil. Add the chopped onions. Cook till done. Now add the spices. Mix well and cook the masala.
- When the masala is done, add the chopped palak. Mix it. Add little water. Cover and cook until done. Now add the cooked dal. Allow it to simmer for 5 mins.
